Leaving? (House/Wilson/Jamie/Ben)

[Dr. Jamie Spencer]

(I am going to use Wilson really quick.)

Thirty Minutes Earlier:

Jamie sat at her desk, wondering if she should leave or not. She had the envelope saying that she was leaving, and never coming back. She was sitting there thinking still when Wilson walked in.

"Hey Spencer. You have a person in that needs you."

She sighed and said

"Okay."

She knew that he could tell that he knew something was wrong.

"What's up?"

She just looked away and shrugged.

"Is this about the other day when you and House had sex?"

She just nodded her head and quickly swiped away a tear that had fallen onto her cheek.

"You really like him don't you."

She looked down at the envelope, unsure of how to respond to that.

"Why?"

She thought about it and whispered, partially talking to Wilson and herself

"What's not to like?"

"Is that a rhetorical question or are you telling me?"

"Telling."

"Ah."

They just sat there in silence when she heard Wilson walk toward her. She looked up just slightly and gave him a pitiful smile.

"You love him don't you."

She thought about it and said

"What's not to love?"

"Is this one a rhetorical question?"

"Yeah."

"Well, I don't know how to answer it. I'm not inside your head Spencer."

"Yeah, I know."

"So do you?"

She thought about it and said

"Yeah. I think I do. But I don't think I can stay here and just watch him do whatever. I love him, he broke my heart. End of story."

Wilson just nodded and sat down.

"Is that your resignation letter?"

She nodded her head and watched as he said

"Do you think he likes you?"

Jamie thought about it and said

"I think he might have for a while, but what he did...I don't think he does. No. I wish though."

Now:

Jamie sat in her office again. She was curled up in a ball, but in a sitting stance, and just thought. She seemed to do that lately. She...was still looking at that letter. She stood up and walked to the bathroom. What she didn't know was that Wilson had just walked into her office...and possibly House. She would be back soon though. But the letter was right there.

[Ben Wilson]

ben pulled himself into the room, held up bye his I.V. "Hey, how are you" he asked and then saw the letter. "what's that about" he asked wrapping the dressing gown around himself tighter.

[Dr. Jamie Spencer]

Jamie had just walked into the room when some one entered too. She looked at it from across the room and shrugged "Nothing." Bull shit it's nothing. She thought to herself. She looked at Ben and said "How are you holding up?" Hoping to change the subject.

[Ben Wilson]

"Oh, I'm fine" he smiled moving slightly forward "next time i know not to try and help" he grimaced as he felt nauses again. "i just can't remember anything between 48 hours ago and last week." his hand slipped and he started falling...

[Dr. Jamie Spencer]

Jamie smiled and nodded. When she saw him starting to fall, she quickly dropped the things in her hands and rushed forward. She caught him and said "You okay?" She helped him back up and briskly walked back over to what she had just dropped. She was packing..

[Ben Wilson]

Ben screwed up his eyes and opened them again. "Why are you packing, or do i just not remember?"

[Dr. Jamie Spencer]

Jamie stopped when Ben mentioned packed, but the started again. "Reasons." She picked up some of her folders and stuffed them in a box. She looked over her shoulder to see what she thought was her step father. Her eyes went huge and she ducked behind her desk. Would he really come here for her? She looked up and saw him standing right outside her office. That was, without hesitation in thought, him!

[Ben Wilson]

as she ducked, ben turned around. seeing a man at the office outside. he turned and put on a dopey grin, just in case. ben stood beside the desk "whats up?"

[Dr. Jamie Spencer]

Jamie looked up at Ben and said "N-n-nothing." Her stuttering becoming uncontrollable. She picked up the three boxes that she had and said "H-hold that thought." She briskly walked out the door, hoping he wouldn't notice her. No lucky. She saw him starting to walk toward her, so she walked faster.

[Ben Wilson]

ben followed her out and when he saw her reaction, started racking his brain for ideas to help. ooh, that was oppertune he turned and threw up all over the mans shoes. turning his head and winking at her, he tried to get across the message, 'if you want to, run'

[Dr. Jamie Spencer]

Jamie's eyes went wide and walked back toward her step father so he wouldn't beat the living hell out of Ben. She pushed him back with the boxes in her arms and said "What's up gramps. Messed with anyone lately?" She glared at him from over the boxes.

[Dr. House]

House saw the boxes in Spencer's arms. "Where the fuck do you think you're going," he asked her. "We have a case to get to. It's in my pants, and it needs attention STAT".

[Dr. Jamie Spencer]

Jamie groaned when she saw House coming. And when he said what he had said, she just felt stupid. She gave an annoyed grin to her step dad and dropped the boxes to where they would land on his foot. "Excuse me." She looked at House and said "I'm quitting House, so go find Wilson. He can help you with the whole pants thing." When she saw the confusion on her step dad's face she said "House, this is my step dad Johnny, Johnny, this is House, my boss."

[Dr. House]

it all finally made sence now. spencer's behavior, why she came over that one night... everything. "stop RAPING her," house said to spencer's step dad.

[Dr. Jamie Spencer]

Jamie flinched when House said what he said. She groaned and watched as her step dad walked forward and said “You better watch where you put your hands though. She’s mine.” Jamie glared at him and before he knew it, she threw a punch and it landed right on his right cheek. “Stay the fuck away from House!”
